Prayer

The text of the Heroic Offering contains the message and the mission of the Pioneer Association.
These words written by Fr Cullen and his friends continue to challenge, support and to renew the efforts of all who are part of our Association.

The prayer provides us with a daily reminder to love God and neighbour.

For Thy greater glory and consolation,
O Sacred Heart of Jesus!
For Thy sake, to give good example,
to practise self-denial,
to make reparation to Thee for the sins of intemperance,
and for the conversion of excessive drinkers,
I will abstain for life from all intoxicating drink.
